Originally this race had planned to bring you our traditional 2 day, 3 stage race. Unfortunately, it recently became apparent that there was heavy opposition from local government to conduct the stage two criterium (and for that matter- the stage one time trial). With a sluggish pre-registration, the race committee did not think it was worth the fight to go to the matte for a full blown stage race. As a result, the Owasco Stage Race has been reduced to the Owasco Road Race. We think our road courses based on your selected class are worthy of your attendance.

Rick’s Cycle Shop has ended over 110 year stay on Main Street. The new and larger location is at the corner of Franklin Street, inthe heart of the Allen Town district in downtown Buffalo, NY about 3 blocks north and 2 blocks west of our old location.

To get the right bike for you, ask for John. He’s the tall guy in the shop and you can usually find him sporting a pair of shorts that looks like a throw back to the 1970 era. Everyone in the shop tease him about them, but he doesn’t seem to mind.
